UKRAINE MERCY MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
The four ambulances carrying much-needed medical supplies from Teddington to frontline soldiers and injured civilians have arrived safely at their destination and the aid has been delivered to humanitarian groups.
Organiser Simon Brake said: “Another fantastic smooth operation which we really hope will make a difference to those suffering in Ukraine. We are very grateful for the fantastic support we have received.”
Over £30.000 was raised to buy the ambulances and a team of eight took in turns to drive. The ambulances are left in the country to be deployed by support organisations in the best way possible.
This was the seventh mission carried out by Might Convoy from Teddington involving 24 ambulances. The team flew back to the UK from Krakow and hope to raise more money for future missions.
