A-LEVEL TRIUMPH FOR TEDDINGTON SCHOOL
Teddington School announced another ‘fantastic set’ of A-level results today.
Headteacher, Paul Grills, said: “These results are a reflection of the hard work and dedication our students have demonstrated during their time at Teddington School’s Sixth Form.
!We are exceedingly proud of their achievements, as well as the unwavering support from our staff and parents. We are confident that our students will excel in whichever path they choose.”
29% of students achieving A*-A grades, 52% of students achieved A*-B grades with sixteen individual students achieving A*-A grades across all of their chosen A-Level subjects.
Mr Grills added: “All of our departments have done themselves proud this year, however standout performances were posted by the Maths Department, with 52% achieving A*-A grades, and the Science Department, boasting a remarkable 48% A*-A, 41% A*-A and 32% A*-A grades in Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
“Our BTEC departments also performed exceptionally well, with an impressive 35% of students attaining Distinction*- Distinction grades.”
Head of Sixth Form, Hollie Pleavin, commented: “On behalf of all the staff, I would like to express how proud we are of our students.
“They have worked diligently throughout their time here and have wholeheartedly embraced our core values.
“While it is always difficult to see students leave the school, we are confident that they are embarking on promising and rewarding next steps, and hope they keep us updated with their many successes”
Highlights from individual students include George Bannon with A*A*A, Perla Di Pierro Demetilla with A*A*A*A, Libby Austin Savage with A*AA and Maeva Bernardino with A*AAA.
