UPDATE – MAN, AGED 25 DETAINED UNDER MENTAL HEALTH ACT AFTER TWICKENHAM ASSAULTS
A 25 year old male was arrested in relation to two assaults in the Twickenham area, it was revealed today.
A male was arrested on the 6th November 2024 in relation to a number of linked assaults that occurred between November 4th and 6th November in Amyland Park road, Twickenham, where the suspect targeted three women.
The man who was arrested has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act. The police said enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
In an initial statement a police spokesperson said: “We fully appreciate the concern within the community that will likely emerge as a result of these offences, but hope that the arrest of the suspect will provide reassurance.
“Officers are currently not seeking the arrest of any other individuals at this time other than the subject in custody.
