RICHMOND HAS LOWEST NUMBER OF CRIMINAL OFFENCES FOR JULY

Metropolitan Police figures have revealed which south-west London borough recorded the highest and lowest number of criminal offences in July.
South-west London, which includes Croydon, Sutton, Merton, Lambeth, Kingston-upon-Thames, Richmond-upon-Thames, and Wandsworth, saw an overall rise in reported crime in July.
A total of 14,442 offences were logged in July, up 5 per cent recorded in June.
Lambeth recorded the highest number of offences in July, with 3,846 crimes reported.
Theft was the most common offence in the borough, with 1,438 incidents, followed by violence against the person with 946 reports.
Vehicle crime saw 219 offences recorded.
There were also 200 cases of arson and criminal damage, 278 public order offences, 196 robberies, and 190 burglaries.
Croydon had the second-highest crime total, with 3,310 offences in July.
As in Lambeth, violence against the person and theft were the most frequently recorded crimes, with 1,083 and 770 reports, respectively.
Vehicle offences were the next most common at 296, followed by 243 cases of arson and criminal damage.
Wandsworth ranked third, with 2,640 offences reported during the month.
The borough recorded 807 incidents of violence against the person and 660 theft offences, alongside 339 vehicle crimes.
Arson and criminal damage, burglaries, and public order offences had 131, 152, and 197 cases, respectively.
Sutton was next in the rankings, with 1,269 offences reported in July.
This included 520 cases of violence against the person, 228 thefts, and 102 vehicle offences.
Police also recorded 124 public order offences and 105 incidents of arson and criminal damage.
In Merton, 1,157 offences were recorded in July.
Kingston and Richmond-upon-Thames recorded the lowest crime levels in south-west London during July.
Kingston saw 1,086 offences, including 380 cases of violence against the person and 330 thefts.
Richmond recorded 1,086 offences, making it the borough with the lowest total.
