BELLY DANCER AVAILABLE TO LIVEN UP YOUR XMAS PARTY
Are you thinking of organising a special celebration or even a Xmas party and you’re stuck for entertainment ideas…. a magician, a juggler, a tribute band, an impressionist perhaps?
Well, think again and think BELLY DANCER!
Samantha Page, a well-established belly dancer from Hampton Hill, may be the answer.
She is an expert in Egyptian Dance style and teaches beginners classes at Teddington’s Elleray Hall.
She is also the choreographer for the South West Egyptian Dance troupe, The Jewels!
Samantha fell in love with her unusual sideline after seeing a belly dancer in a restaurant over 20 years ago has been hooked ever since!
Rich in history, mystery and fascinating culture, she loves how it connects women to their feminity and intuition through movement and music, giving a freedom to express feelings and emotions in the moment.
She tells Teddington Town: “The magic of this dance unites and empowers women of all ages, nationalities and body types and invites them to come together to dance, move, inspire and learn from each other.
“I love to share my love for Egyptian Dance with the audience and students and spread the joy and positivity it brings to me so they can catch it too.
“In such a challenging world it’s nice to uplift and help brighten people’s day. I’ve only been doing my classes since the beginning of the year because so many ladies asked if I offered lessons after seeing me perform.
Samantha, whose full time job is as a cleaner and care worker, became a local celebrity during COVID when she performed her routines in the street near her home after the clapping for NHS workers.
Samantha is available for charity events, restaurants, parties and ladies nights ( price to be discussed) and teaches at Elleray Hall, Teddington 7.30pm Monday nights £10 per class.
