WIDE EYED AND LEGLESS IN TEDDINGTON

Andy Fairweather Low, the lead singer and founder of the 1960’s band Amen Corner, brought his guitar masterclass to Teddington’s Landmark Arts Centre.
Andy, now 77, known by his fans as AFL, showed off his sixty years experience with at least SEVEN different guitars to a sell-out audience on Friday night with his brilliant band Low Riders which includes brilliant Nick Pentelow on saxophone.
He’s supported Eric Clapton, Roger Waters and Bill Wyman but delighted his Teddington rocker fans with flawless versions of his early Amen Corner hits, Bend Me, Shape Me and If Paradise is half as Nice.
The audience eagerly awaited his rendition of his world famous theme tune ‘Wide Eyed and Legless’ – a massive hit in 1975 which had the audience singing along too.
