The ClockHouse opens

The aging Kings Arms relaunched as The Clockhouse today.

A true transformation has taken place from floor to ceiling and the spacious beer garden sun trap will be a favourite during the summer months (and during the winter for those visiting the ‘smokers hut’).

There is definitely a strong emphasis on the dining aspect reflected in the new seating plans and the great bar menu – check out their delicious burgers and Croque-Madames amongst other favourites.

Definitely a venue to entice you in from the nearby High Street – the new refurbishment really makes use of the central location. Also be sure not to miss interesting furniture – especially the antique clocking-in machine right by the door and wooden bench fender around the fireplace which can be used to play board games.

Set lunch menus are 2 courses for £10.95 and 3 for £10.95 Mon-Fri 12-3pm and traditional roasts are served on Sundays.

Keep an eye on the discounts page for BBQ days and other offers.
