High Street Update
There are some very promising signs on the high street this week – one empty shop space (Escape) is under offer, another (next to the vacant Subway shop) is currently having air-conditioning installed for its new owners.
Ambience was previously reported to be closing but we are now happy to report will remain open (the fab bags pictured below are available from here).
Over the bridge the good news continues – the vacant unit left by Caroline Turner Shoes (now an online-only store) is being refitted to become a new nail bar.
High-end clothing store TCS has increased the size of their shop floor to now include first floor above.
It may still seem like a long way away yet but football fans can now pre-book tables at the Teddington Arms for big screen World Cup action.
Finally The Retro have their website up-and-running now that matches the refined character of the restaurant perfectly. Diners can now peruse the menu before they visit, but then again isn’t half the enjoyment looking through the menu with a glass of wine in hand?
