NPL Open House registrations still open
If you have ever wondered what highly specialised work goes on behind the doors of the National Physical Laboratory then you can take a peek during a second open day, created after the huge success of the one in 2010.
Almost 3,000 visitors are already registered to attend this year’s event on the Wednesday 14th March 2012 but there is still time to apply to tour this unique scientific campus in our back yard.
You can plan your visit around the many labs, exhibits and talks using the online guide and ensure you get to experience the ice-cream made using liquid nitrogen!
The doors will be open from 2pm until 8pm (last entry 7:30pm). More labs will be open than last time and there will be some specific child-friendly ones included too.
[Update 08/03/2012] Registration for this event is now closed – the attendees limit has been reached.
