Olympic High Street flag quiz

NewsMany people have been enjoying the Olympic flags on the High Street and some of the more unusual flags have created a lot of quizzed looks from those trying to identify them.

If you have recognised many of these and are feeling confident you can now put this knowledge to the test!

A name-the-flags competition has been created to help locals celebrate the Olympics and attract more people to the high street. To enter this, either pick up a printed form from La Casa Del Habano (76 High Street) or download this from and either print & return or complete it using Excel and email it back (instructions contained in file).

Aside from the first and last representing the start/end of the Olympic flame journey, the 93 flags themselves are in alphabetical order (by street number) but 3 or 4 late-comers are not – just to make it a bit more difficult! Not all teams represented at the Olympics have flags on the High Street.
