Fancy some Protons for Breakfast?
Are you interested in watching a gherkin be electrocuted or tasting ice cream made using liquid nitrogen? How about understanding global warming, nuclear power and mobile phones?
Protons for Breakfast is a six-week course for people curious about science and its impact on our lives is aimed at adults and no prior experience of science is required. The course is organised and held at NPL and is a community event where all are welcome!
£30 covers all six sessions (including drinks and luxury biscuits), teachers and under 18’s can attend for free. You can register for the course here.
This course has received overwhelmingly positive feedback and has gained the course director and science blogger Michael de Podesta, an MBE for services to public understanding of science.
This is the penultimate run of this popular course and starts on Tuesday 25 February and continues for the following 6 Tuesday evenings until 1st April, 7-9pm.
