LANDMARK TAKES FESTIVE EMPORIUM ONLINE

LONDON: 14 November 2020: Teddington’s Landmark Arts Centre is delighted to confirm that following the new restrictions of Lockdown 2.0, its Festive Emporium will not be cancelled and will now launch online, instead of the shopping event previously planned at the centre. The fundraising
event will go live on Thursday 19 November and will run through to Sunday 6 December.

Lesley Bossine, Arts Centre Manager commented: “We weren’t going to be deterred by the second lockdown and have been determined to make this year’s festive shopping event happen to avoid disappointing our supporters and makers. Taking it online is the next best thing to our usual in person festive fair.”

The Landmark’s annual festive fair, renowned as one of the key events of Teddington’s festive calendar, will now be a bumper online boutique of over 700 products offering an array of homewares, handmade and crafted jewellery, ceramics, artworks, children’s gifts and gourmet foods from 25 talented makers.

Abigail Thomas, Visual Arts Curator, said: “The Festive Emporium is the perfect place for that unique Christmas gift, or for treating yourself, and every penny of profit goes back into supporting the work and maintenance of The Landmark enabling us to keep the doors open so we can hold it at the centre in 2021, along with our usual programme of events.”

The Festive Emporium will go online at www.landmarkartscentre.org and will also feature ‘Meet the Maker’ blogs from participants, as well as special offers around Black Friday from 27-28 November.
