New QR Codes So Residents Can Report Overflowing Bins

There’s a helpful new feature in the parks to help residents to report full or overflowing bins. Bins will have QR codes on the lids making it easier for residents and visitors to report overflowing bins quickly and easily directly to the park cleansing contractors.

The measure has been put in place due to the increase in rubbish generated in the borough’s open spaces since March, with more people now meeting in the many parks and open spaces.

After using your camera on a smartphone to scan the QR code, residents will be taken to their website where they can quickly and easily report an overflowing bin. The new system will be a more efficient way of reporting incidents directly to the contractors, therefore reducing the need for residents to phone or email them.
