Community rallies against charges

NewsFollowing the announcement that paves the way for parking charges in Richmond & Bushy Park, campaigners are encouraging anyone opposed to the plans to attend the rally being held at the end of month to make their voices heard.

More recently financial info has been published that sheds some light on the £3 million needed for general car park improvements (which will include changes required to implement charging).

All local MP’s oppose the charges and for once will be united in this shared cause. The ‘non-political’ rally starts at 10:30am in Richmond Park on Saturday January 30th, organisers are hoping for a big turn out to maximise media coverage.
