There are lots of events happening this weekend but if you’re still stuck for ideas for what to do on Sunday, how about a vintage picnic in the park!
Shooting Star CHASE are hosting a vintage 1940/50′s event near Diana Fountain. The fun will be taking place from 11am till 4pm, Sunday 1st July 2012 so turn up with a picnic and join in. It would be of course a perfect opportunity to wear your favourite vintage outfit from Mela Mela!
At this event will be
- Over 100 vintage and classic vehicles
- Music presented by Nick Kirby
- Jive and swing dance with Everything’s Jumpin’
- Large all-weather dance floor
- Stalls and games
- 1940s & 50s style dress positively encouraged
It’s free to join and any donations given will raise money The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice & Chase Hospice Care for Children.
